RE: Rheingold Standalone 3.51.31
Another dumb question
ista D is strictly diags ? I believe dis 57 could register battery's . Do you need istap to register battery's or code injectors ? I know you can do it from inpa and tool 32. |

If you decide to put a larger or smaller one (in terms of capacity not dimensions ) you'll need ISTA P. It's not strictly diags, there are many adaptations you may need to perform like: increase starting injection quantity, correct parameters for an aged MAF sensor, adapt steering angle....an so on... And above all, it's very friendly...my opinion. |

The adaptations are spread out in the documentation. For example brake bleeding there are 2 guides for the F30 one is just the guide the other has the guide and a button to run the ABS pump. The same goes for steering etc.

The procedure is assisted and explained within software. This is an example for E60/530i/2004. It might differ for other models. "Doesn't the car perform adaptions automatically?" - No, it doesn't......you have to do it yourself in this case (battery replacement). If you don't, you might encounter charging problems, shortage in battery life and so on. Good luck ! |

Rheingold Standalone 3.51.31
Need help here! Is there some setting which I had missing out? Some vehicle info not displayed correctly and on top right, KL15/30 SHOULD there be some readings? Sorry, I'm really very need to Rheingold. I'm trying to calibrate my rear view camera which is showing failure error. Unable to calibrate as I assume it might due to some setting not done properly. Btw, when I did vehicle test without engine running plus I don't have a charger. Hope someone can provide me some directions.. Before screenshot for your reference and dirty for the poor Image.
