Programming work, same as previous version, included by oficial method i think no.
maybe in 3.60

Update of vehicle master data.
The vehicle master data system has been standardised across BMW. Therefore the vehicle master data has been adapted in ISTA. When identifying a vehicle using basic feature selection, the "national-market version" field has been omitted and the "basic version“ has been introduced instead. The basic versions available are ECE and US. Select "US" in the case of vehicles for the US market, for all others select "ECE".

End of support for ISID R1 and IMIB R1.
From ISTA 3.55 on, ISID R1 and IMIB R1 will no longer be supported. The installation of ISTA on an ISID R1 will be disabled. It will also no longer be possible to connect ISTA with an ISID R1.

New minimum system requirements from ISTA 4.01 on.
From ISTA 4.01 on (rollout planned in August 2016), due to the introduction of the programming functionality in ISTA, the minimum system requirements will be adapted as follows:
• Processor with at least 2 cores and 2.2 GHz
• At least 4 gigabyte RAM
• At least 500 gigabyte hard disk
• Alternatively: ISIDR2

New ICOM Next firmware 03-14-08.
A new ICOM Next firmware with version number 03-14-08 will be delivered with ISTA 3.55.
There are also improvements in the execution of the vehicle test in old series.

Displaying and reopening old Service Cases.
Due to the update of the vehicle master data it is not possible to reopen or resume Service Cases created with ISTA 3.54 or lower.

ICOM Next: Vehicle test not possible for DME in old series.
A vehicle test of the DME is not possible in old series. DME must be deselected for a vehicle test in old series. Please use the ICOM as a workaround.

aaaa ok, i understand.
but is possible ista launcher ready for programming data, but maybe 3.55 not is enable officially. i not know. maybe aknight can explain this.


in log of ista, show this line programming data version is empty, with launcher maybe add new line in reg for this.

This is empty in log, but programming work fine, maybe when you add DATA for programm with launcher, add line in reg for add this info.

Works without any problems for me. So it must be something with your download or your computer (have you used WinRAR to unpack?).

Wasn't it a 7zip file?

I'm sure this time it was rar, but I never had any problems extracting 7z with WinRAR either.
