Same problem. Win7 X64 after installation and other launcher does not start the program.

Mine is Win7 32bit...and the worst part is that i have installed all VC run-times from 2005 to 2015 & .NET 4.6.1,4.6.2 & Adobe X & updated the windows to date & the latest JAVA 8.111... sad...still not working...something wrong about the license file...

Try to find something and if i do, i will tell to everybody in this forum.

Firewall ?
Defender ?

i set both off , also i enable netframewrok 3.5 and only install 4.0 , service works with the later versions of netframework but im not sure this does .

i also install all the vcredist.exe from 2005 to 20015 so its not that.

i think the launcher is recognised as a virus so if defender is on, maybe its that

also , if installing java i would stop at 7 and disable the update in java console.

Hi SCOTT!
Firewall is off, no antivirus is installed, it's a fresh win7 install.
Trying this :
Disable Defender, just java 7.45 (that's what i have offline installer ) and vc2005-2015.
coming back with results.
Cheers Bye

100% something with the license.dat...
my config:
fresh Win7 Ultimate 32bit (up to date updates)
java 7.45(no updates)
VC 2005-2015
.NET 4 (try also 4.6,4.6.1,4.6.2)
no Windows defender (disabled from the Administrator menu and stopped the service)
No Windows Firewall (disabled for Home and Public)
try v5.0.14 -work perfectly
try v6.6.1 -work perfectly
and this!!!!! :

This is what i get on second 2, after start if only "Run as Administrator" is checked.

If i check XP SP3 compatibility then AFTER checking the JVM and booting the JVM i get the first image then this image

RE: ODIS Engineering 6.7.5 launcher and setup
Then maybe its your license .

6.6.1 works well in widows 8.1 64 bit but this does not so i wouldnt use that as a guideline .

5.0.14 is the last version to work with .frf ?
That's the reason for installing v 6.7.5...to try the .frf files...

No my friend, i don't think so... smile
The reason for what I'm trying to install the v6.7.5 is to try if it works with .FRF files not just .SGO... i know, i know, SGO files are for ECUs using KWP2000 protocol and FRF, ODX and SOX files are for ECUs using UDS protocol...As far as i know the v5.0.14 was the last version to deal with .FRF files without any problem...

My license.dat file is the same as others(like itrescuer, vagvag or billyleon), who had installed without any problem this version...this is what bothers me...
