I'd like to ask you about ISTA 4.02.
I ve'been using ISTA 4.01 which was installed using *.msi file.
All databases extracted during installation.
But now when I try install on my second device ISTA 4.02.14;
ISTA is installed but without SQLiteDatabases.

Do I have to extract it using Ista Launcher Console?
Or there is something wrong with my Install package?

ISTA seems to skip:
BMW_ISPI_ISTA-DATA_GLOBAL_4.02.12.istapackage
BMW_ISPI_ISTA-DATA_en-GB_4.02.12.istapackage

I'm using: BMW_ISPI_ISTA-APP-4.02.14.17970.
Should ISTA installer extract it or it has to be done manually with Ista Launcher Cosnole?

On this device i only have one partition and ISTA install in "C:\Program Files(x86) \BMW\ISPI\TRIC\ISTA"

I know that I can unpack it with 7-Zip but I would like to know if there is a way to install it with "*.msi"

It is all about current starting point, correct registry entries, and appropriate files.

I updated the the the PSdZ with SDP from 4.05.32 to 4.06.20 which worked fine.
I also compared the PSdZ version 4.06.20: 98.1 GB with 33.365 files and 307 folders.
Then I looked at the PSdZ data offered here: http://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=25606
and checked the content: 98 GB with 29627 files and 115 folders.

Is there an explanation for this discrepancy?

I get this warning in the log file.
Installed a fresh copy so no prev installelation from ista.
Why does it need the old META file?

Also ISTA core files or not installed. All the other files or installed.

You need this file in folder :
BMW_ISPI_ISTA-META_SDP_4.05.32.xml
When you use delta instalation.

When full, I guess you do not need any xml files ...

Hi guys, I'm having trouble trying to install latest SDPs in my ista. I have attached a screen shot and copy of launcher log but unfortunately looking at it doesn't mean much to me so if somebody could help it would be really appreciated. Thanks.
