We would need to сядск the encryption BMW uses for their Р5dZDата files (mathematically infeasible), remove the mechatronics unit from within the transmission open it and read/write to it like a DME/DDE or use proprietary custom built protocol level software to directly read/write the raw files on the EGS module over OBD.

There's a couple of us that have been working on this as a side project for nearly a year now and we hope to have something at least ready for testing by the end of the year or early 18'.

Xdrive isn't problem just code your EGS with your original VO not with modified. You have 8HP70 so you are good to go.
