I can't get my cloned icom to work with this. Icom is updated to 3.10.44. I'm using Beemerboy88's english snapshots. Network setting are like they were in snapshots: Adapter one connected and bridged, adapter two not connected. Connection manager shows ICOM1120134, MAC 00:01:a9:00:ee:e9, VIN WBAMW91070xxxxxxx (my car's VIN), status red "cannot be used". Is MAC adress my problem? Any solutions? Thanks!

Solved. I changed to original russian snapshots, no solution. Then I read this topic once more and changed network settings: Adapter 1 -> connected and bridged, adapter 2 -> connected and host only. Adapter 2 had to be done through VMnet1 because it could not be set to connected and host only directly.

During installation I chose "I moved it". Is this the reason why those settings were not correct?

So have you got it working with my English snapshots?

"I moved it" should not make any difference. Here's the installation instructions for each interface if you haven't got them.

Is there any way to upload a VO to the vmware image? it asks for if you can update online or by file but what directory does ista go to upload the image.

With a VERY quick test, I was not able to get it work with your snapshots. I will try again with better time.

The English snapshot does not have your device listed so wont work.
The russian one does.

The serial no. and mac address needs to be registered in the vm. But the snapshots cannot be edited. So you'll have to wait until beemerboy updates the english snapshots or just stick with the Russian one (and change the language).

you may get network problems but i'm not sure, not tried it. Personally, I would leave it as it is.

If bimmerboy88 wants to update his snapshots, my cloned icom's mac is 00:01:a9:00:ee:e9 and serial number is ICOM1120134.
