Andy, do you have the TPI number related to 976 software update?

Hi all,
I am finding solution for my state. I have 4M mib2 high unit but I need rebrand it for VW. I have connected VW display (for mib gen.2) to mib2 high (can bus is OK vw display is detected in diagnostic session via uds as slave device) but AUDI is still different in VAG group. Screen is black because vw/skoda/seat is using different controller/touchscreen and network cpu (for can bus) in mib2 audi doesnt support vw display/controller. Screen is black but mfsw controls are working. Is possible to set via UDS diagnostic/engineering sesion configuration for display/mmi controller type? Is there different firmware for v850 cpu or there is only another config in eeprom ? Hw is similar vw vs audi.

You are sure there is a 1107 for NVIDIA? Only know 1117 and 1177 for EU cars with MHI2Q.
But all factory version.

Do you have a part number like 4M0 906 961 with Index?

So far no new version available.
Current MHI2 is 976.
Current MHI2Q is 1177 (EU) and 1188 (US).
Guess there will be a new version soon.

I realize this is an older post but by reading this thread i have learned more today that in the weeks leading up to this problem i am having. I recently bought a 2018 Q5 2.0TDI, it has so many issues the dealer has had it more than me.  seems a lot of the issues are related to the lack of functionality and my version of MIB software.

I have no idea if i have MIB1 or 2, but i can tell you no one i have spoken with has seem my version of firmware. MST2_EU_AU_P9118D, I can tell you it is a ROW car and I am in costa rica where they have not yet learned to even reprogam the onboard electronics for things like cruise as mine seems stock in LIM mode.

anyway the reason I am asking is i am hoping to find a version to update my MIB to that will add back audi smart phone.  seems in Costa Rica audi never did nav maps and the dealer says audismart phone (CarPlay) only comes on cars ordered with Nav (2 SD slot and DVD w/ hard disk) option which doesnt work anyway here.  my car has MMI Radio plus and only a DVD and one SD slot.


can anyone tell me if its possible to update the firmware to have audismart phone?

I see in the excel list a firmware that is not the same as mine for MIB Rad but not sure if that can be flashed or is only a dealer option.  also i wanted to know how to access green screen menus like my last car 2014 Q5 had. my VCDS cannot do it. nor the scripts I've seen floating around.  I have accessed an printed all the red engineering app screens and seems much of what i want is there as resident but not active.
