Communication problem with Merc trucks Xenntry/DAS
Hello, greetings to All Members,
My Xentry/DAS 07.2018 is not communicating with older truck (2000 to 2012). It works with newer trucks. All trucks with OBD socket Actros, Ateg, Axor, Vario (all 24V). It doesn’t work in Simulation Mode either. All Vans and Cars work OK. I have no much experience with Merc trucks, but I suspect there are some files missing in my Xentry installation or licence issue. I am sure some experienced Members have the solution to the matter. Please advice. Thanks for reading. |

RE: Communication problem with Merc trucks Xenntry/DAS
hi,
if simulation is not work probably because of no sim files that were copied by das to c:\programData\mercedes-benz\csd\writefile\sim. you have to check if there are sim files in there. if in real diagnostic, SDConnect can't diag older obd2 truck, we have to know what error code it is. is it 9500, 9511 or what? it is better if you can upload the error code and also the 'self-test' sdconnect report. in 24v, the most common error is in the process of k-line protocol process. i forgot the process name. |
