Hello there,
after a long time without ICOM (have only K+Dcan and ENET Interface) i want now to buy an ICOM clone so i can work more professional and also update ECUs safer way than with K+Dcan (CCC for example...) So any experience there which one to buy ? What is the newest ICOM ? Icom Next ? How much should i spend for a good working one ?

I bought 4,
Icom A1. 2x ICOM A2 and the original ICOM NEXT
in my opinion, and from what I've talked to with others
the best is ICOM A1, it's a 1 to 1 clone, one disadvantage is that it's delicate,
A2 is also ok, but often has shortages,
I do not recommend A3, and clone ICOM NEXT,
of course the best solution is the original ICOM NEXT

ICOM B (optical fiber module) for MOST modules in the E-series
to old models below 2000, needed ICOM C (OBD2 adapter -> OBD1 20 pin round)
Then it will handle all models E, F, even G

And an Other question, if A1 it can handle e, f and g Series, so where is the reason for newer ICOMs like A2 and NEXT. Where is the difference?

ICOM A and ICOM A2 clone, almost the same, just an external appearance,
ICOM A2 is converted to icom A1, by Chinese engineers,
A1 has a fan and A2 has a heat sink for cooling the processor,
icom next clone, it's also converted to ICOM A2 clone, just like A3
ICOM A1 will support all models, even F and G

If I were you I would go for the original ICOM.

Had a superb clone A2. One day it just went faulty. Bought two more A2 and A1. One had no ethernet, other had no terminal 15.

Got an original. I now use wifi most of the time. Peace of mind.

No, and if you have to buy a clone twice, it is just as expensive as an original Icom Next!
