yes, of course, ..
you can activate carplay and all the various functions, ..
but only if istep is earlier than 11-2018 (so no last software update should be installed.)

For some reason Carpay doesn't work. Patch applied but Carplay still not showing in menu I-step 07-18

Mmmm. How can I be sure about that? I have installed some updates on the system and also 
maps, but can’t remember exactly when.
