NBT2 ID5 + CID APIX1 + voltage Converter: sometimes black screen

XZBMW  NBT2 ID5 + CID APIX1 + voltage Converter: sometimes black screen
Hi,
For some EVO ID5 installed with NBT CID and 8.5V converter, the CID sometimes stays black when the system starts. It happens randomly -
I tested the converter (and replaced it even if it works..), but for some cars the problem persists. Must switch the ignition off, then switch it On few second later, before the screen starts.
The measured voltage in the screen input is stable at 8.6V.

No one had this problem ?

Use voltage converter that you can regule it to 8V , after puting converter to 8V didnt get this problem any more
  • FSC Patch CIC/NBT/EVO/ENAV2/MGU
  • Remove Component Protection EVO/ENAV2/MGU
  • VIRGIN KAFAS/RAM/ENAV2/EVO/MGU
  • VIRGIN EGS ZF / DCT
  • Secure Coding 2.0 Type Key, FA, SFA

I also had this problem after updating with newer I-Level than 64.2 (should be 03-2018). After flashing back to 64.1 I never had that problem.

I had this same issue on Istep 07/18. I flashed my unit to 03/18 and I have not had any issues.

Car systems should put this in their enbt pdf.

I flash them all with 18-07-530. 75% of HU have no problem
I will try to use older ilevel

The problem happens only with some recent CIDs APIX1
For the moment I haven't tried to downgrade yet. Don't hesitate to share your experience if you do will it from your side.

I've got the same problem on 18-03 and 18-07 too, downgrade to 17-11 solved all my problem (but losing CarPlay full screen sad )

With 07-2018, there is FDL for CarPlay Full Screen but doesn't work ! (work only with 11-18)
I missed an episode ?
