You need to use an ICOM. Will not work with k+DCAN.

You can't flash that in k+dcan. Restore it with icom. It happens because k+dcan can't adapt his baudrate when flashing and finishing operations, now your DME is stuck in RSA signature failure, not bricked neither blocked, simple reflash that with icom and winkfp or nfs or ista whatever you prefer...

Yes some dme are bastard!!! Also 8hp EGS in xdrive models only icom... some ecus only icom also DSC on some mini etc....

You CAN flash the MSS60 with a DCAN cable but only particular ones. I have used the one from Bimmergeeks.com called "Pro Cable" to flash the MSS60 many times, with perfect results. You can read about the differences in their cable on their web site or email them about it. If you were unlucky, you've permanently bricked your DME. But with a little luck, you are stuck as _ANGEL_ has described. You can recover with an ICOM or a Pro Cable. |

Yes, I have had this issue before, some ECUs will program with DCAN cable, but some have bricked, WinKFP often will show signature error.
Icom should restore. WinKFP should still be able to detect the ECU even if ISTA-D shows it an unresponsive |

Yes, the MSS60 is one of several that have problems with the original DCAN cables. Many are OK but MSS60 is not. the problem was first reported by Mike Benvo However, again, the Bimmergeeks.com cable was engineered to address this problem and works perfectly with the MSS60. |
