I got the engine replaced but the engine they used its not from the car it supposed to be. Verified based on donor VIN. Low mileage 40k mls engine plus complete service history, based on fact so far the engine they actually used is from way older vehicle with most likely way higher mileage.

Do you have any vins you THINK it might be from ? I can look if you want but I can’t reverse search on engine number. Only vin.

unless it was damaged by the installer or the seller., sometimes a sticker on the back of the engine bellhousing mating to the transmission will have the original VIN,

You can get a local law enforcement involved in an engine number search to Car VIN. The sheriff in alot of USA states can look up engine numbers and reverse those to Car VIN. So find a law enforcement and tell them you suspect a possible chop shop involved. However, be ready to have your car seized if they do run the engine number and it comes back as from a stolen car. They will impound and start a recovery research for the insurance company that had to total it out.
