Both cars got updated by dealership, but with LK56450 there is no luck with AA. I think this is latest I-Level for both cars and I should wait for next one to see is it going to make any difference.

I`m also curious. In one car from 2019 with MGU in Connected Drive->Apps there is CarPlay and Android Auto on the other from 2018 with MGU there is only CarPlay and no Android Auto. Both cars have 6AK-Connected Drive Services.

So I want to enable Android Auto on the one from 2018 but don`t know what I need (just coding or FSC).

You should update the software at an official dealer and then after a while you get AA via telematics without any coding and FSC stuff

LK56450 production date 05-Nov-2018 updated to S18A-22-03-552 no Android Auto only CarPlay

CD26538 production date 26-Sep-2019 updated to S15A-22-03-540 both CP and AA available

I red somewhere that Android Auto is available only for cars with production date after 03.2019 but it`s not confirmed. What would be the difference in MGUs I don`t know.
If someone give me just a little advice I`ll try and will share the result

For 2018/2019 cars, there's an FSC the dealership needs to order and apply to your car for it to work, regardless of your istep.

Both cars have MGU and CoonnectedDrive services activated so FSC is not aplicable at all. CarPlay and AA are possible to activate by telematic only (if you want to keep other ConnectedDrive services alive of course).

Sounds legit. After 3 years of paid by BMW ConnectedDrive services I need to pay to activate it and AA should appear with new i-level update.

First thing to check was ETK from s-gate according VIN. When you open it you see: "No picture panel information is available because of the optional equipment installed in the vehicle. Retrofittings are not considered."
This means you can not order AA FSC for this car, because it`s already installed.
Reactivating CoonnectedDrive services sounds as good idea so far

Sorry Davidoff86, but ETK is the last tools where I will check anything Better to learn how ConnectedDrive architechture works, when we need FSC to activate some features and when we need to register at ConnectedDrive portal and buy features over there.

6U3 is the option code. Usually need to re-program HU and TCB and update services

isn't 6U3 MGU vo code?

Solved!!!
I paid £89 for reactivation and updated CoonnectedDrive services. Android Auto appear under Apps.

Looks like Android Auto appear in i-level at some point when prepaid by BMW CoonnectedDrive is over. That`s why cars before 03.2019 don`t have it unless you reactivate it.
