I don't understand why you feel addressed in this discussion. Nobody told you that you could no longer get licenses. Anyone who is eligible gets licenses as long as you don't overdo it and I think if you're just using it privately then you won't overdo it.

This is being used 100% privately and for my own personal use. Attched is the error I had in Windows.

This is why I had to reinstall Windows as I couldn't back the drive up, do Windows updates or lots of other things.
