I'm running 4.36 and have ICOM on LAN and internet via WiFi. No issues. Can do both.

Does anyone has issues with the Internet connection during is Ista running/connectod to car via LAN?

IP-LAN: 192.168.4.1 (Icom next original) - DHCP
IP-WLAN: 192.168.1.x (Internet) - DHCP

Connection is established to both networks but only after unplugging ICOM I am able to open f.e.websites. In the past I didn´t have this
issue. I also didn´t change anything on my laptop except Updating ISTA to 4.35.xx

Anyone a hint what it could be?

Since Icom is in DHCP mode, you get also default gateway, so the PC tries to resolve/access the internet through the Icom,
Either manually set the Icom LAN (not setting DNS/gateway for the LAN), or configure the Icom to not use DHCP, then it will be in Automatic Private IP Addressing (169.254.x.x), probably this is the difference from previous version.

@petraki
I will check this, it is not so much important but sometimes you also need internet.
Thank you

Hi,

I'm getting the error: 'download failed Try again' and says 'when trying to retrieve secure tokens'

This is when calculating measures plan and trying to to software update.

Any idea how to resolve?

Connecting by ENET and no issues when doing car test and reading faults.
Only when trying calculate measure plan for software update.

what model/car/year are you trying to flash? What psdzdata/i level  are you using? New models, as per BMW release notes, requires Secure Tokens with AOS on line conection with BMW back end for ceratin new models. Perhaps this is your case......

2021 manufactured G82 xDrive so looks like this is the case then with AOS required.
Updating car with 22-07-521 and most of the ECUs have this version, just the VTG requiring signing by the looks of it.

Dealer and online AOS only has 22-03-565 so can’t help me….

Try to load the engine ECU by other model, like E87 they should have been delivered with same engine.
