ISTA 4.37.43 to 4.39.2X
Hello,
What is required to upgrade from 4.37.32 to 4.39.2x? Need only 4.39.2x files or another older? I have 4.37.43 already installed. You need a Full SDP so you can either start fresh with a 4.38.x Full or just upgrade your existing 4.37 with 4.38 and then you can move to 4.39.x. I started with this 4.38 full and the worked through the 4.38.x incremental deltas and then to 4.39. I haven’t seen any 4.39 Full SDP yet so that was my path. This all applies to offline only, not standalone.

Why you guys can't read wonderful guide by Sedoy??? You CAN upgrade ANY SDP version to ANY newer version AS LONG as you HAVE ALL upgrade files IN BETWEEN.

Could you please explain what are disadvantaged of solution ISTA+ 4.37.40 with newer SDP and BLP ? Something will be working incorrectly ? I guess, main menu is modified/synchronised with SDP/BLP version ? Could you please share your expiriance ? PS. As I understand last licensed ISTA+ version for now is 4.37.40. We can update SPD and BLP for the newest one ISTA+ 4.39.20. But due to lack of the newest global SQlite databases, some procedures, wiring diagrams will be mssing/will be old ? Thanks for clear explonation what these solution give us or don't ? |
