Hi All,
I have this issue with the Media screen that keeps rebooting.. it displays 'Mercedes Benz' for short while, then it goes off and shortly comes back on.
No sound or any control..
I have scanned the car with Xentry and following codes are 'current and stored'

N62-Parking system (PARK)
U014786-Communication with the control unit 'Head Unit' has as a malfunction. There is an incorrect signal.

A40/13-Multifunction camera (MFK)
U142279-Implausible data were received from the control unit 'Head Unit'. There is an invalid signal.

N30/4-Electronic stability program (ESP)
U1427FD-Implausible data were received from the control unit 'Head unit'

Any help in this would be great.

How did you get to that situation? Is that module accessible or visible from Xentry?

I deal in car buy and sale.. I purchased this car with this fault.. thinking it may be case of 'reflash' the head unit.
I've had this on a C class W205 with the screen kept rebooting, which was sorted by 'relashing the head unit'. This was done at a Mercedes Specialist (who are few miles away).
I put this in forum to see if anybody else has come across this..

I have had BMW cars where this has happened on Idrives and I was able to sort it, by reflashing the head unit.

Try to connect with him with Monaco and if possible, try to flash him.

Can a used head unit be fitted? Can it be coded? Or is it case of new unit from dealers?
Would the new unit be plug and play?

Thanks for your suggestion, but I have not used Monaco. I only have openport 2 interface (cloned).
I have ordered VCX SE but that will take time to arrive.
If it can be done with Openport, then please guide me.

can be adapted though you are not gonna have carplay/android auto and other features enabled on used adapted module.

These errors do not need clarification, the HU does not finish booting and other modules cannot communicate with it, with consequence no origin, ignore them.

You don't need VCX to try to flash it, in this case Openport is enough.
