Hi, I am having LAN communication issues on original ICOM.
System LED is flashing green but LAN is not.
The LAN cable, OBD cable, RJ connector replaced and tested ok.
I take any advice

did you used it before? maybe it was configured manually and you need to reset icom to factory settings. please change the font color.

yes it worked until then.
I have always used wired and was recognized without problem.
the icom cannot be found on ista or Itoolradar.
I can try to reset to factory settings, do you know the procedure?

Does LAN LED on computer side light up when you connect this ICOM? If LAN LED is not lit that means there is NO ethernet link. Or LED is faulty. So if it is not lit on other side too that definitely means no lowest level link.

So if you tried connecting another computer and two computers LEDs are not lit that means ICOM's hardware is faulty. IMHO practically NO chance then that firmware restoration would change anything... Because that link is usually established by ethernet hardware without any participation of software.

hi, thanks for getting back. I tried two computers and two icoms with identical cables, one working and the other not. the start-up phase is identical (system and lan led fixed then system flashes) after that icom with malfunction is not recognized by the computer. it's the second icon that gives me this problem... I tried the reset procedure, it is taken by the icom but identical after that. unless I'm doing the procedure wrong.

Did you use CAT6 cable? And are you using a charger at the same time?
