Dsg7 TCM compatibility
Hi,
Can somebody confirm if these TCM are compatible?
Original TCM 2011 Golf mk6
Part No SW:0AM 300 050  D
Component: GSG DSG AG7   403 9030
HW: 0AM 927 769 D
Coding:0000020

Donor TCM 2014 Golf mk7
Part No SW:0CW 300 047 S
Component: GSG DQ200-MQB H43 5201
Coding:0014

My understanding is that 1st generation was ‘0AM’ and was replaced with improved version ‘0CW’

Thanks in advance

Hi,

0AM-D units its a no immo inside (non mqb cars)

0AM/0CW -G-K-E and others contain immo data ( mqb plattform)

You can clone from 0AM-D to 0AM G,K (full clone) and works perfect. But only clone.

Regards

Thanks for your input..
Can you clarify if this TCM donor unit I have can be used?
I am unsure about the part numbers, you mentioned 0AM/0CW -G-K-E but mine has ‘S’
Can this be used?

RE: Dsg7 TCM compatibility
no, your doesnt have "S". you must chech hw id. in first original you have it written "HW: 0AM 927 769 D" check this number for the second, it will be the same except the last letter, that is only difference. its also written on the tcu itself

If your donor TCU is, 0AM927769 - D, K, G, yes, you can make a full clone from original D unit to D,G, K unit and works.

Your donor posted from Golf 7, yes its works on this case with full clone.
