Have flashed the EGS Alpina software for my F10 550ix LCI and to be honest I am not satisfied with the result - gears change at way to low rpm - come not close to 5k/6k rpm - neither in D nor in S mode
Have flashed with FA type code XA73 - maybe that is the diesel one and I took the wrong type?

Correct, you need Typecode from Alpina B5

A misused Alpina Flash has nothing to do with the original premium Alpina car.

Thanks - that explains why it acts like it does - Diesel torque and rpm don't match whats in my car - stupid me.
Any chance to post that Typecode here?

Why??? ...this is 535d diesel car.
You need from alpina based car like 550i. This is KN91

I am screwed here - in post #309 user Fatalix shared a list with tpyschlüssel - is that only for diesel cars?
My original Typschlüssel for the LCI F10 550ix is KP91 - is the KN91 the Alpina one for that engine?

I never said that he can flash 8HP76 with 8HP75 flash, not only BTLD different, everything is different that is why he has EGS vs EGS7.
We are talking about Alpina 8HP76 transmission flash, not G3x chassis only. And it's possible to find a needed flash from the different chassis if know how to.

P.S. What I think is that you should keep your thoughts to yourself.
A different opinion doesn't mean it's wrong. I'm not here to teach you politeness or explain things to you.

Alpina flash is for people who can't afford xHP Flashtool but still want to alter transmission behavior.
Everyone who tried both knows it. "premium Alpina" my goodness. giggle
