change of coding for English seats in EU Car G31 LCI
Hallo
I have a problem with the G31 LCI , seats from the UK were installed in the European car, there are errors: 9309E8 Seat position sensor , driver : open circuit 930B8F Front passenger seat occupancy detection : open circuit From what I see in the controller tree, these seats do not have separate modules. Can anyone tell me which module and what entries should I change the coding in so that the car thinks that the English seats are ok? There is also a second problem with the handbrake switch, DSC does not see the connection with the button, I checked the second switch, it is the same and fuse F59 is ok. What could be the problem? |

RE: change of coding for English seats in EU Car G31 LCI
doesn´t make sense. Without modules you should have the "normal" seats? not comfort (full electric)
did you swap the identical seats from Car A to CAR B? .:: Thanks+Rep doesn´t kill anybody

RE: change of coding for English seats in EU Car G31 LCI
Your problem is that you try to fit UK seats to EU car. Modules inside the sets are exactly the same in driver and passenger side - doesn’t matter if it’s EU or UK. If the sense of wiring is exactly the same like in F series ( I am more the sure it is) the only difference is GROUND point (-). In one seats,I don’t remember if it’s for driver or passenger side, there are to ground points and for another seat is only one - this how your car “knows” which seat is which side.
Because you fired UK seats to EU car it’s normal that you have occupancy sensors error because now in your scenario, your driver’s side seat doesn’t have occupancy mat because you have it in your passenger seat. To fїж this issue you have two choices : 1) you need to take the material off the seats and move the occupancy mat to your current driver’s side seat 2) buy and install EMULATOR but even if, you need to code off seatbelt warning for passenger’s seat. |

Additional ground is only issue for seat heating(swapped when you have RHD seats in LHD car), it's not related to this issue. 2 ground points is for seat heating on passenger side, 1 is on driver side. Same is for F and G series. But both errors OP mentioned can be resolved with coding. Just disable passenger mat and driver position sensor, you don't need ay emulators.
