Hello everyone,

I have a BMW iX1 (U11) 2024 that was involved in a crash.

Accident details:

• Airbags deployed: curtain airbags, dashboard airbag, steering wheel airbag
  
• Pedestrian protection астїvатёd
  
• Seatbelts deployed: front right and rear right
  
  

The vehicle has now been visually restored, except for:

• Dashboard airbag
  
• Bonnet pyrotechnic locks
  
  

My questions:

1. I do not see any fault codes related to blown HV battery pyrofuses (for example, 22F44F).
   The only fault present is 21F37E – Impact Detection.
   Does this mean the pyrofuses in HV battery do not need to be replaced?
   
   
2. Does the crash data still need to be cleared from the SME (via dFlash programming)?
   
   
3. I have not attempted to charge the vehicle yet.
   The auction listing showed the battery at 0%, but when I received the car it was at 38%.
   I’m not sure how this is possible unless it was charged? This is another reason why I suspect the pyrofuses may not have been triggered.

hello, you will need replacement of sme, i do not reccomend to do sme virginise, changing of pyrophuses in it, as later you will have more problems, with ecu validations

Sme need change. After change you need activation from imib hv. Or remotely someones can help only for activation

If you have enough budget, you can replace it with a new SME module. If you have limited budget, refresh the SME module data and contact me to power on remotely.

hey, I have also a BMW X1 U11 e25 2024 with the same fault code.

for me the steering wheel,dashboard 4x seatbelts and left, right curtain airbag and 2x active bonnet airbags went of and is replaced. the car is ready expect for the fault in the SME 

so if I buy a new SME from BMW and someone could program it would the car work then? or do I need to change also other рдят5 then?

Are you sure the SME2 from the U11 can be "refreshed"?
