Could be one of your options. Use 'Elan Memory Card Explorer" to backup your PCMCIA
But you need a computer with PCMCIA slot.

Nice collection.

1. Is the laptop fitted with pcmcia card reader?
2. Did you remove card from tech2 and inserted in the laptop port?
3. Did you use elan memory card explorer and it did not work?

I did exactly all 3 steps above in my old dell d360 and it works each time and every time, never ever failed on me.

Writing a bin file to the card with old laptop can work (the later Dell Latitude Dxxx models or some Thinkpads can be used), Memory Card Explorer 3.21 needs a free memory address. The latest MCE installs 2 shortcuts one with auto-config an one with manual input for memory address.

Iirc the Tech2 has an option to copy/backup a card from one slot to the other; idk if it works with clones or only with genuine devices.
