Have VM with 98.01 IDS and is trying to program a 03 F150 PCM. The diagnostics portion works but it gives an error that there is no response from the pcm just before it should start to write the flash.
I do, I used the supplied software in VMware, the setup video tells you to change location to china I then downloaded latest version upgrades from here.
I make a clone in VMware to test upgrades first

RE: FORD AND MAZDA COLLECTION
It is reported by many users on several forums that vcx nano can not be used to program modules in IDS. Can only be used for diagnostics. It is not a good replacement for genuine Rotunda.

I think VCX nano quality is non consistant from each devices.

I heard some people that are able to do programming with it..
On my side I can't VCX nano is useless for me...

Maybe some unit are better than others.

Hi Fantomel,

I have installed the mazda software after installing ford ids and removing the software but keeping the FORD VCM manager.

The ford manager can see the VCM2 but the Mazda IDS can't?

I tried going in to the vehicle manually but there is only ford cars in the list? (see attachment)

Is this right? or should i used version 101 on your mega

many thanks
