An ICOM A3 doesn't exist officially. It's a chinese fake version with hardware of ICOM A1 in a different housing.

I only guessing, if using on an oem w istap loader any version should work,but it oem computer has to be i3 or above or all icom clones or oem will be in red as well the istap server unusable too !
