Hi guys i have big problem with my wifes a7 2012. the mmi unit keep restarts him self after 5-7 minutues , after reboot need to wait long time to show "setup mmi" and language etc. sometimes it's restart before fully booted. i buy that car few days ago , i think someone did update to this cars cuz the BOSE souds like crap , and i have this error over and over.

what if done:

-Updated from (factory or not , propbly not) k0285 to 900
-updated map

and evryhing was ok for 1 day and still the same , unit cant get fully booted or get 1 on 10 boot.

after updated software evryhing ok for 1 day. and same

maybe only AUDI dealer ONLINE updated to factory ?

Hey!

Try updating with new firmware and in the green menu activated "swdl - user defined mode". When you start updating thru user defined mode find BoseG3_Q7 or BoseG3_ and take every tick off until there is a letter N near Bose. To do it, you need to enter to this item, and change near all items to N in all second rows. So, finally near Bose should stand N. This is very important–don’t forget to make it.

U think BOSE can cuz so much problem with 5F? i think someone updated software wrong version , from a4 a5 or q7...

Yes Bose can cause problems, even if you flashed the right version, maybe you can try emergency update with the right procedure.... You can try.

Reistaled k900 ss software user defined all component and evrythink is ok until i insert sd card or cd to the unit , when i insert sd unit freezes and go sleep restart and cant fully boot "setup mmi" etc
