What happens if the nbt gets updated with a new caf file ? Won't this over write the file ?

If the ECU is updated at the dealer, default coding values will be applied, so all the custom coding will be lost.

Bimmercode is the least expensive; plus not locked to one vehicle. Pay for Vgate adapter ($20) plus IOS app ($30). Other solutions are $100-200.

I've tested on a few with ilevel 17-03-xxx, including my own G12 with Id5 and on brand new G30 17-07-xxx with ID6. Not working at all.

It does work on F86 with ID5 and ilevel 16-11-xxx.

I will test if some non-updated G come to me.

For sure there are new security changes on 17-03

What do you mean exactly? The release with BIN file, VIM works well with EVO BTLD-6. I have already unlocked VIM several times, costs 80 €

BIN still works. We were referring to IOS app with wifi OBDII dongle solution. Last one it work for me was CAFD_00001EF6_006_025_206.ncd (G30 M550).
