Hello, I have a Mini Countryman R60 and want to retrofit my visual boost to navigation system. I bought a 2nd hand navigation system. I need a help on how to install it to my car.

May I do it on my own?

Should I use an emulator for it?

I want to use Navi, Video in Motion and Voice control features.

You have all the wiring done correctly? I have finished my second retrofit.
Using an emulator is the easiest way. Make sure you have the vin that the navi came from.. you can use it to get fsc codes for updating maps..

Hello again, do I need a second USB connecter to update maps or is it enough by arm-rest usb socket?

Also, is the PDC working for retrofit by emulator?

Usb for update is located in the glovebox! Pdc function depends on emulator.. some work some not
