As I wrote, yes Org. BMW ICOM next with MOST connected

What I meant is that MOST adapter for ICOM Next is different from the one for old ICOMs. And it causes slow programming if old ICOM B is used with ICOM Next A.

There is only icom b for most ATM and I highly doubt they will make any newer most adapters.

Most is dead after E series.

Ethernet is the current future for infotainment systems and updating, data packs are huge and Ethernet offers the speed needed.

Then why ICOM Next B works fine with ICOM Next A and old ICOM B
works slowly? And BMW part numbers are different between ICOM B and ICOM Next B.

Icom next runs a gigabyte lan port. So if router and laptop also running gigabyte ports you increase speed, that's only if the car and software allow it.

Also the next is faster for G series cars which I suspect also have gigabyte Ethernet bus.

I'm perfectly aware what ICOM Next is and I have it. I'm just telling you that ICOM Next B is different from ICOM B. And ICOM Next A does not work with ICOM B on full speed. If you do not believe that, fine - not my problem here.

I will now try to update a CIC system with ICOM NEXT and a new ICOM NEXT B connection to the MOST. using most_async_ab625. using WINKFP (same setup as I use with my old Icom and old icom B Most)

I hope I see same performance as with the old Icom.....But yet to be seen

i have updatet to:

Current PACKAGE IMAGE version: 03.15.00
Current SYSTEM IMAGE version: 01.01.00
Current APPLICATION IMAGE version: 01.01.00


but flash a E CIC via Winkfp and over Most very slow.

i use since 6 years winkfp for flash e series and for f series always e-sys
i have never used ista p and do not want it.

Because not all cars can be updated with ista-p. When too many custom things has been added.
And I use it to upadate CIC before retrofitting into older cars. I have a DESK setup.
