Does anyone know if it is possible to program the calibrations into 06 cluster to work with 03 truck? When I plug in the 06 cluster and using TIS2WEB entering the VIN from 03 truck - application shows me a long list of part numbers what I need to select from, but I don't see the part number of my 06 cluster in the list. Any workaround?

No need, the 06 cluster will work fine in an 03, you just can't go the other way.
If someone took the time to help you, the least you can do is take a few seconds and press two buttons!

And there are different versions of DIC (e.g. trip 1 - trip 2 or personal - business, etc). How to find out without a calibration upload what DIC version should be the cluster programmed to (e.g. I don't have any information about the vehicle except known VIN number)? |

There are other factors to consider. One is if you flash an 06 with the cal from an 03 you may have problems with the PRNDL because of the LED display instead of the VTD.
Flash it with a DIC cal for an 06 and it should be good. If someone took the time to help you, the least you can do is take a few seconds and press two buttons!

03-07 Silverado Tahoe Avalanche Hummer H2 etc programming, upgrade, problems
Got a couple of customers recently who did install 2005 cluster into 2003-2004 trucks. I did successfully program the clusters with Tis2Web SPS to specific VIN of their respective vehicles with proper calibrations to "use 2005my cluster in 2003,2004MY vehicle", but both they did report later to me, that they did get "service brake booster" message on the display. Suggestions?

The cal you used was for a truck equipped with the SBA system. (Supplemental Brake Assist) If their trucks did not have it, then it was the wrong cal.
