I think last version of gini can upload FSC´s Sebastian, but if the ediabas is not configured as you recommend, then you face with the same problems that with FStool.

Your problem i think, i´m not an advanced user, think it was coment here, over the page 11 or so (LINK), i think you have the same issue like me when I patch my cic (my car is a 06 e91), that the fstool can not upload or download the 1b and other, i did not remember which one, is a problem with the ediabas, look for the tips given by sebastianfernandes to fix it.

At least, as far as I know, to connect with Fstool/gini to the cic on a e series car, without the telnet methot is with the kdcan or icom. But, if you can connect to the cic via FTP, you can upload the FSC´s and then check them with fstool or gini.

Ok, at this point Check FSC is working with my original FSC's.
I created the new FSC's with FStool (load template files, modified VIN, Sign with the new certs and save) => do i need to change the date ?

After patching the CIC where to upload the new FSC's on the HDD ? for me they are stored in "generalPersistencyData_DiagnosticSWTController" ? Do i need to create a new file which contains the new FSC's ? and how ? (or simply copy/paste into the file with a Hex editor ?)

For the 1b, not all the generators support the one created and signed with the intel´s patcher. I only get one working without any problem with original and signed, and it is (at least for me) the generator that include the ibac generator. That worked me without any issue.

You don´t need to upload the 1B and then donwload it back again (should be same), you can generate the code once you sign it on your pc. For then when you upload, and check FSC´s plug the map and start update.

Script disabled, CIC Patched + virginized and all FSC'c imported successfully ! (17,19,1B) (i've followed the instructions on Page 15 (store SIG/Check SIG, store CERT/Check CERT and store FSC/check FSC)).
After reboot, i've generate a new map code for the new 1B and go on !

no you can just do only 17 ,store fsc/check fsc

Hi, i've done Store FSC / Check FSC again for 17 with no success.
So i decided to virginized again my CIC, importing FSC 17,19 and 1B, the problems are the same : no navigation voice and no voice control :'(





Any ideas ?

Hello,

I wanted to do this activation today, but I have encountered some problems.
The navigation menu is grayed out and the voice control doesn't work.

Here is how I proceeded:
- USB with its contents ==> CIC restarts
- Using "E-sys", menu "FSC Editor" to generate and sign fsc, I only changed the VIN (FSC for 17, 19, 1B and 9C)
- use of Dr.Gini to change the VIN, inject the FSC and the certificate.
- Tool32 to reboot CIC

Can a person help me or generate an FSC for my VIN (I may be doing wrong handling)?

I would be very grateful for any information or help.
