Hi, can someone give me a hand or point me the right direction...I've tried to connect to the CIC to delete the script, i used ftp://160.48.199.99 255.255.255.128 the same settings i used few years ago when i've exctracted the 1bfile and generalPersistecy...unfortunatelly nothing works. Installed Putty, filezilla, d-link DUB-E100 drivers. All the certs,sigs,fsc are installed, when i Get status everything is accepted and loaded, only this bloody script drive me crazy

Hello everyone, I bought three years ago the BMW E60 2004 with CIC, unlocked some script, but I can not do map updates. Can you help?

Thanks for your answer,sory if it's not the right thread, but i think deleting the script is part of the chain patcher to make it work properly,i've read alot ,i've managed to import with FSTool the certs and fsc, but each time when i check status fsc is rejected , and i've tried everything, a few years ago i've extracted the generalpersi.... by ftp but now i'm stuck,i cant access the CIC to delete the script, i don't know if it's the laptop,the cable or maybe me i'm too old and dumb for this.Thanks

Try setting 169.254.199.98 / 255.255.255.0 and GW:169.254.199.99 for your computer and access thru ftp://169.254.199.99

Many thanks for your reply, i have an E60 2009, retrofitted CIC, i've ordered a new ENET (510 ohm) cable, i should receive it next friday ,i will give it a try.

I´ve done this a few times, but this time the cic won´t restart, I also reflashed the CIC and tried again, nothing happened, any ideas?

This patch is for using own signed certs and FSC's. And is for CIC-High(Premium map) only so if you have MOVE map you don't have CIC-High and it wil not work.

If you only want to update map you need other tools (Dr Gini or SWID 1reader+FSC Generator)

But when I get now FSC and use generator it won't work becouse it was retrofitted.
VIN in HU is difrent then in CAR
