Hi,

I'm trying to make setup using FEM on bench but always have problem with turning on KL15. I can turn on KL30, KLR but when I try to use tool32 to turn on kl15 I always get this:

Any idea why this happends ?
I measured KL15 wake up output signals from FEM and KL15 is off.

I dont think the FEM will activate terminal 15 without the presence of a valid key.

For sure will. Many people confirm that. When you use ISTA P or D it can also turn on kl15 even when you dont have key in car.
KL15 on don't mean that you can start up engine...

I guess once the session runs and key is removed from the car ISTA/P it will finish it, but will the session start without a valid key in the car?

For sure you can do it with tool32. It is only KL15, that don't mean that you can start car. It is only relay in fuse box....
