Hi,

i need you help or an advice on how to update my maps.

I have an F10 with retrofitted NBT EVO. For retrofitting FSC i used FemtoEvo serveral years ago.
Everything is working perfectly.

Now i want to update my Maps to 2023-1 but i always get the message "use device with correct activation code"

I put a Folder "FSC" on my USB device with the maps and put the fsc i got from femtoevo in it (FSC_DV06058_01200065.fsc).

Is this the correct fsc to put on the device?
I think i have to put any other fsc on it but i cant remember how i did it serveral years ago.

as ar as I know, the map update was for free for three years.
Now it seems that the three years are over.

FemtoEvo should be Lifetime maps, i just looked up my old Mails wehere i bought it.

"Full FSC pack for EVO is $80 – includes CarPlay Laptimer and lifetime map."

in 01200065, 65 is update up to 2022-2 ( not included afair )

you have 2 ways:

better: contact femtoevo team and ask for extended map code for your car

not recomended: erase femtoevo patch and use other solution with lifetime code (may get to trouble with rejected codes even after full update)

…and I am pretty sure that three years ago there was no lifetime map FSC included, have a look to the map index.

The quote was from an Email I have got in 2019 from Femtoevo

can you advice me how to look at the map index an what I can find there?

You can find the map index in the lookup.xml:
SWID_FscShort="01200066" name="Road Map EUROPE EVO 2022-2"
Your FSC is older (01200065) so it will not even work with 2022-2.

I have the same problem you wrote. I asked to receive or buy a new Fsc code but I didn’t received any reply from Femtoevo… did you solved?
