I bought a repo 2007 335i with a bad motor for $3900 about 2 years ago and fixed it up. That car appeared to be totally stock, but it was freakishly quick. I recently sold the 2007 and bought a 2009 with half the miles, but the new car isn't nearly as fast. I'm wondering whether my new car needs maintenance or whether my old car had a tune on it. There wasn't any kind of tuner in the DME box or anything like that. Can you tell from the FASTA file whether the car had a tune like the MHD? I have attached 3 FASTA files from the old car. Thanks

Hmm, boot mode read and writes of the 335 dme will not leave any traces of writing and overwriting of data, so it wouldn't appear through fasta.
