I need some advice.
I want to buy a programmer. At the beginning to learn and later to earn a living. I know that a long way before me

I want to focus on immo, dash, airbag maybe chiptunning later.

I definitely think about Xprog ... clone of course. There is a choice between 5.84 and 5.75. The first one is almost twice as expensive. Is it worth adding to it? Only AUTH-0028-1 Renesas V850 and AUTH-0028-2 Renesas SuperH are added. Where can I find their application? Will I need it?

Is it better to buy 5.75 and also UPA? Is 5.75 used OK? Any problems found? 5.84 needs USB Dongle, 5.75 too?

I had a 5.74 clone. Don't work good at all. Try to find an 5.55 , it's working verry well

I got 5.84 at a few days , and don"t have Eeprons on the Menu
So can"t read 93cxx 24cxx and so !
I also read that the MCU lock"s after some time, don"t know if that is true

5.55 is able to perform most of the operations on ecu's from E and F series?
FRM3 repair, kombi (vin and milage correction), immo, airbags?

5.55 read and write FRM3 without problem.
To repair EEPROM from DFLASH, I use the newest version on xprog. It can be instaled on the same computer with 5.55 version

cursor so you're still using version 5.55 xprog, but you have new software on your computer for it?
Or maybe you bought 5.55 and did firmware update of atmega?

For read and program I use 5.55.
For repair EEPROM from DFLASH, I use newest version.
5.55 didn't have tool for repair FRM EEPROM
