BMW airbag module reset tool
Hi,
Anyone got any suggestions on what tool to buy to reset airbag modules? There are some modules that get the internal error and there are only two options get the module reset or replace it. One would be http://codecard.eu/carprog/software/airb...od_64.html , but that is out of stock. I'm looking for a tool to do older BMW's like E39, E46 etc. |

I just cleared mine using ISTA-D on a 2003 E85

What the original poster asked is reprogramming the MCU of the airbag, for when the data becomes corrupted or crash data is stored. Only an MCU programmer will do that. Carprog works for that. Not ISTA-D, not NCS expert. When the module has internal fault, it rejects error clearing and coding.
