Can't get 6WB to work in F32
Hello,
Desperate for help here. Context : ----------- 11.2015 BMW F32 with 606 option, basic cluster, no fibre optic. Want to fit brand new 6WB F3x What I did: ------------- Updated the istep to 11.2017 Every single ECU updated. All went well. I installed new fibre optic between radio and cluster Installed cluster, turning on ok. Throws all sort of errors, SOS, etc, normal not coded yet. Added 6WB to FA, saved. Read SVT, still BKOMBI showing up. I read ECU, BKombi disappears , now 15 ECU instead of 16. Ok maybe 6WB is in transport mode? Can't find it in list anyway, so can't do nothing about that. Started ITSAP again and declared new part, 6WB ISTAP cant find it and asks me to replace. Ok I replaced fibre optic cable with new one. Same issue. Can't see DKMOBI nowhere I reversed fibre cables in case, same issue. I changed KOMBI_CIC from radio to HIGH, same issue. Locked car several times for several minute to reset MOST, same issue. When 6WB gets power, fibre optic light comes on for few seconds. When radio gets power, fibre optic light comes on for few seconds. I use ESYS 3.2.7 Any idea guys? |

Do you have details please on how to do that? just add 6wb to FA go to esys options check update vcm, update msm activate fa and code any ecu with this FA, HU_Entrynav for example this will update vcm and u will see kombi in ecu tree BMW tuning & retrofitting, https://www.instagram.com/cebepspb/

Ok just reporting back in case someone else has same issue.
Updating VCM indeed removed the BKombi but DKombi still was not showing up. After a bit of troubleshooting I noticed VO coding the radio would not actually change any of the necessary fdl settings. So I had to manually enable the 2 Most entries as well as Kombi to High. Now all good cause before that there was not fibre optic signal going into the cluster. |
