XZBMW  Entrynav2 - GPS doesn't work - no location
Hi

BMW F39 from the USA which is currently in Europe. The car has an entrynav2 unit with ATM. Unfortunately, the GPS in the car does not work.
After entering the coordinates manually and driving literally 200m, it transfers the location to the last known

The steps I took were to replace the GPS antenna in the roof (New - ORI)
Unfortunately, it didn't help. I also decided to change the ATM - it also didn't help

Finally, I installed and assigned another Entrynav2 unit to the car - it also did not help

Still no GPS

If he sees GPS positions in ATM - 3D

It doesn't see any satellites in the hidden navigation menu

The only error that occurs is:

E14600 - Ethernet: Unexpected communication termination

After deleting it, it comes back after some time

Maybe someone had a similar problem ??

Thank you in advance for any help, I'm already losing my mind smile

that error usually to do with the wiring from the atm to the stereo. Ive got a car with similar issue and thats one of the error messeges on it from memory. the car im dealing with has had the stereo stolen and the customer has had someone else repair the wiring. i gave them the stereo precoded and it wouldnt pickup the gps signal. first there was no error codes now it has that so waiting for the customer to come back so i can fix. from a quick glance. i fix someone mixed the wiring colors up on the qabr connector. i would double the wiring behind the stereo and take it from there

If anyone has a similar problem, there is a service function in ISTA to save the ETHERNET configuration

In my situation, it helped and GPS started working

ill try that on my as customer still has issues. did the GPS work immediately after saving the config or did you have to drive the car around for a bit?

Just drive around and the correct location was selected. Check in the hidden menu if you can see the satellites
