Just to check.. how do u make ISTA and esys point to a same location for Data file?
As the Data file folder is 100Gb, pointing them to the same location will save me some space.

I am using SDP and BLP 4.09.12 published by spider

Put the files in the PSdZ folder.

And modify the registry.

Ista P from version 3.64 is only for Exx?
That means no more PSdZData, or useless PSdZData?
Will the PSdZData be removed from the SDP data for Esys in the future?

I know that you can do it with mklink but before that were extracted from Ista P PSdZData to insert in Esys, so I wanted to explain it smile

Hello,

i have a problem using this new version.
Because of some free space problems i allready deleted my version 4.03 or whatever it was.

So i need to do a fresh install of this ISTA but i failed.

I hope someone can help me.

What i did:
I downloaded the Package "standalone version of 4.09.33" which gives me: Rheingold_Standalone_4.09.33.7z
Extracted to C: so folder is C:\Rheingold
I had (from my old installation) the Tools folder, so i used the RCleanerV4.4.exe to clean up the system to have no conflicts.
I run the "4.09.30 database reg fix (x64).reg" and the "4.09.33 standalone reg fix (x64).reg"

When i now try to start the ISTAGUI.exe it tells me the known message:
Failed to start ISTA.
Please make sure your ISTA coniguration is valid......

Allright, i think because there are still no SQL Database Files.

So i downloaded "ISTA 4.09.33 installation files".

Some search and i found out that i need this IstaLauncherConsole. Downloaded 1.1 Version

Checked the Path and did everything as default values are that i can not do something stupid here.
Run the reg file.

C:\Temp\ISTA_Store\Downloads contains all the Files from "ISTA 4.09.033 installation files"
BMW_ISPI_ISTA_DELTA-SDP_4.09.30.istapackage
BMW_ISPI_ISTA-APP_4.09.33.21392.msi
BMW_ISPI_ISTA-BLP_4.09.30.istapackage

If i understand the log correct i need the 4.09.20 installed first?

Can someone help me and explain what is the best way to install this 4.09.33 as a fresh installation?
