I have had a play with 550, and it is missing the file odis.main.service_51.0.10.jar as we already know.
Unforturnately, the copy I have is corrupt, so I cannot upload.

I did test 540 and it runs perfectly, you can get a copy in ODIS thread

I have also managed to install 540 fine and 550 is only a small update mainly Bentley as i understand

Thank you, seems the local copy I had of odis.main.service_51.0.10.jar was goosed, now it upacks ok thanks to you.

Now you have loaded 540, odds are you can update to 550 OK now.
With ODIS, if you do a clean install then you can get errors like we had with 550 and missing file(s) but now you have a database loaded, I would suggest you can update to 550 with no problems now... go figure!

Thanks to mr kmaverick for testing out the patch I made to the database.
It seems erWin didn't make a test on a CLEAN PC to see if the database would even load!

I found 234 missing files and an error in site.xml file

I have made ISO file and will be uploading this so that others can update to 550, which as far as I know is the FINAL database before ODIS Service 4.4.8 comes

100% You must install as admin.
What version of PostSetup is that?
Also consider changing path of source files from desktop to a short path like C:\PostSetup

Me for instance I had no issue when I did update using Mr. Sunaj postsetup
Actually never had any issues. Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit
