Hey. After 07\2014 the F1x cars with NBT and TCB got te GPS TRACKING menu in the bottom of the settings menu.

Anyone knows whether this is something hardware dependant in the NBT or can it be FDL coded?

I tried changing ZK in VO to 0714 and coding the NBT but this did not help.

There are a few threads on the net regarding this and most say to enable the

SVR, SVR_SHOW and VEHICLEFINDER_SHOW in the NBT CAFD, but these were already active on mine.

I ask this because after replacing the HU in my car for DAB retrofit, i lost the ability to track my car via the ConnectedDrive app. It says to enable GPS tracking in the menu of the car, but i have never had this menu.

GPS tracking via app was working before swapping HU, and the HU is correct for this car. Black HWEL in esys and ISTA updated car with no issues.

Have you tried flasshing th nbt to a newer ilevel ? I had this....and after flash the menu apparead? Also could be a HW issue

I had the same issue with one car. Had to exchange a NBT unit due to HDD failure. After replacement and original FSC import, the GPS tracking menu was gone.

Theoretically the menu should be visible after oppening ConnectedDrive app on the phone and selecting gps tracking, bu that was not the solution on an exchanged unit in my case. I also called ConnectedDrive support and they manually resynced the account with the car, but still the same. I think it has something to do with the NBT serial number.

I level is latest. If it was hw issue wouldn’t ista complain about wrong part? I have sent an email to CD support. But the first one I talked to told me it was because my car did not have atm module.......

Even if it is. Why could I track my car but not now? This is the second unit I have swapped in this car With the original HU tracking worked. With second used unit it worked. But this one does not.

No idea. I am only stating that the GPS tracker menu is enabled via Provisioning and not FDL Code. There maybe be other requirements such as firmware level, etc.
