Hello, I got a F25 here and they tried to update and I think they canceled the updateprocedure but I dont know exactly. After this try the BMW Dealer tried to fix this problem. I checked it and it looks like a wrong coded / wrong CAF on CAS. I tried to inject but I didnt get it. There is always an error message. Maybe i dont have the correct software Version. IST=11-09-507 // inject version=18-03-530.
Is this the problem, or is there an other way to fix it. The Errorcode in ista tells me, that the variant between CAS and DME are wrong. I should program and code the DME with new software, but for me only the CAS is wrong, right?

Would be nice to get some help from you!!!

I tried different versions, but no way to get it done. I did injecting before at other models - no problem, but this car won't work. What is my failure? Now I got the  FFFFFFFFF_255_255xxx CAFD. But it is how I told, I fixed this problem several times before, but now I need help. The problem is, that I don't knwo, what this guys had done with the car and I dont know, why they messed up this ecu, they tried to change the US map to EU map. Its not necessary to code the CAS. Would be glad to get help. At weekend I can organize a Teamviewersession, if we dont get it here. Thanks a lot.

I found this:

Had a similar issue a few days ago on new CAS4 F11.

I got an FinishedWithError fault when VO coding CAS4, I was able to FDL code it tho.

MSA was malfunctioning and other strange issues.

It turned out to be simple solution.. After many hours I noticed that FA was missing parameter for battery... I added A090 and it coded properly.

Might be a long shot, but just wanted to share.


Could this solve my problem, too? I will try this on friday. If you have additional tipps and hints for me, they are more than welcome. Thanks a lot!!!

i got it!!! There was a wrong entry. It was a US and EU configuration at the same time in car. after correction of this failure, I was able to inject the cafd into the CAS.
