nbt2 vin change help
HiGuys
Im trying to change my vin in my nbt2 to the vin that is stored in my white atm. I had a bin and fsc codes made for me, but it only changes short vin not longvin. I know I have to update my unit to id5 but im having a hard time connecting my oabr cable to flash unit. So oabr, router static ip 169.254.199.99, static ip computer 169.254.199.98. Pin 29 12 volts. Cannot direct connect. Can connect with transmitter in esys. Can connect with enet cable. Can connect with icom. Sorry if this is confusing, but I'm at my witts end trying to connect and flash my evo. No problems coding with esys. WTF am i doing wrong. Don't mind paying for help. This is for my own e93, not to make a living. Sorry for the rant.

RE: nbt2 vin change help
You need a gateway for flashing. Without it it’s hard to flash it correctly. You have fsc set for id4 or id5?

Hi Lars
Im flashing on bench through zgw2 and i have fsc for id5 but my evo is id4 right now. Ijust started getting into bmws when I bought my09 e93 in march of this year, so its been a challenge for me. I am in the automotive industry right now., but more on the construction side... fixing skidsteers and backhoes. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Thanks Turbo I'll have to check that out. Being a new BMW owner has been a very nice experience. Its nice that there is so much support and experimenters in the BMW line. I'm sure the BMW dealers hate it.lol
