Hi, I would need some help with my 6wa retrofit to a 11/2013 f11 lci 530xD with 115 000km.
I got a kombi from late 2016 with around 32 846km (checked), the EEPROM inside is a 35160wt. I connected the eeprom to an r270 and read the eeprom (original.bin). I then erased the vin:
Byte 70 0F with FF
80 00 to 80 0F
590 0E and 590 0F
5A0 00 to 5A0 04
The file is changed vin.bin.
After that I installed the 6WA in the car and coded it by adding the 6wa to the VO. Inserted CAFD to the KOMBI and coded the whole car. I didn’t flash.
Unfortunately the Kombi shows red dot, the service intervals don’t work and in ISTA I can see some errors (ista.jpg), it shows the correct KM when in the car, but once taken out and connected to power supply only, it shows the old 32 846km. I dumped the eeprom once I removed the Kombi from the car after installation (after.bin). On the photo with the Kombi you can see that in the hidden menu my vin is shown, but I start to have doubts if it is really taken from the eeprom. In the ISTA screen shots you can see the Kombi errors, the other errors are not related to Kombi and are already out.
So question is what I am doing wrong?

can you modify the bin so I see where to change?
Changed just the vin in 35160wt in no other eeprom, where needs to be changet the also?
But I have no mistake of VIN mismatch in ISTA and why is the km not taken.

The car slept for several days this didnt help.

The eeprom to change the vin is only one, the problem is due to the kilometers stored in the kombi, purtropo on the new eeprom can not be reset or modify with R270, for this the DOT (red dot) and expired services. To solve the problem you need to install a small emulator that deceives the kombi processor and aligns the kilometers between vehicle and kombi

He didn't change mileage only vin the cluster came from lower mileage car so it will overwrite mileage no problem

The question then would be, will the KM be taken by the KOMBI from the car even if the VIN is not correct?
Because if the answer is Yes then I am afraid that SMERCKI is correct and I need an emulator in the new HW versions of KOMBI.
If the vin is wrong, should it not be shown by ISTA as is the KM error?

Can someone else also confirm that the problem is VIN in 95320, would a mismatch in VIN, not be shown by ISTA/D?
How to change in 95320, Flashing the KOMBI?
Or can be done by r270, or need another programmer?
