XZBMW  BMW APPS CIC can't connect phone after adding 6nr
Hi, I have F11 2010, which has combox, but didn't have bmw apps. I added 6nr in vo, and coded it in hu_cic and added fsc. Bmw apps now on , but when trying to open that, it asks to connect to external device. Plugging Samsung galaxy s9 it asks which usb mode I should connect, after chosing any, it asks: Allow access to phone data. touching allow, but it keeps coming again and again asking wheter or not allow. Cic still asks to connect usb device and bmw connected app doesn't look like connected to vehicle.

Android device is not right for this, for BMW apps (on your 2010 car) you need a APPLE device.

Yeah CIC was never designed for Android phones.
Even NBT you get BS apps with Android.
Iphones only to get the full stack

the thing is that browsing online and looking for info I found that some has their units working with androids, some not, so must be some android settings then. after adding 6nr now online search, weather info is missing

Weather has nothing to do with BMW Apps.
Refresh services from ConnectedDrive menu. It will come back eventually.

 still without bmw apps, it is way to much to pay them £85 per 6 months.

Android will work only with NBT and next HU

but the Androut APPS it is real FAKE without any good widgets
