Car systems firmware update "no response from unit"
My emulator came today from being lost by USPS. My dealer loaded up the EVO firmware but midway through the over 1 month trip from Ukraine to the US I decided I wanted to do a NBT next instead of EVO in my E90. I got the firmware from carsystems but I can not figure out how to flash it and time zones are hurting me getting direct support from them. 

Anyone have any idea what is wrong? My NBT will not boot with the evo firmware. Device manger shows the emulator on com port one.

A carsystems rep remoted in and updated the firmware. Now if I could only get my NBT to work. I am still getting no display and I can not get the Esys to work. I have zero experience with F series tech.

Carsystems verifided my wiring it correct for the emulator. I can eject CDs with the faceplate. I feel like the NBT is working but the CID is DOA.

I was also informed that I need a 1kohm resistor in my enet wiring.

Post info from the factory sticker on the back of the screen, at the bottom. It will show date. Post it

And your NBT is regular NBT, Double Din format?

I live in America and the NBT next grows on trees here. I paid $90 for the HU and $150 for the display.
