RE: software update
usually UPD update files are for the Bluetooth module to support recent smart phones , are you sure your car doesn't have Bluetooth connectivity .?

Hi emhtuning thanks for answering me! I recently bought my car .... and on my i-drive there is no bluetooth voice, phone, or navigator. What advice to check? Do I have to disassemble my radio? |

I would like to understand inspi1981 ! the site https://www.bmw.com/en/footer/software-updates.html inserting the vin of a car returns updates for the packages installed on that vin ... correct? Well! How come by inserting the vin of my car I return the Bluetooth update that I do not have in my car? Also if the update refers to other hardware of my car ... how can I install it? I do not have usb only aux input. Thanks |

I have already checked your VIN ( attached is your car full information without VIN information mentioned ) , the only option you have which is related to your car is " S8SCA Telematics Access Requestcountryspec " , that is the reason why BMW website offers you an update . you can simply ignore the update as it doesn't really add any new value to your as a driver. |
