Hello, 

So, i've an issue with my Bosch ME7.2 ECU ..

When I flash it with Kess and turn the ignition for the first time : My car crank and work well !

But .. after turning off the ignition : ECU Does not respond ! 

I write back my bakcup original file..align EWS, and the car work well, turn the ignition off, work great .. 

I think my tune have an issue ? but cks are OK    and I repeat, car works very well after flashing my tune file !
The issue is only when I turn off the engine and want to turn on again : No response

Let tool make the checksum on bmw... cracked winols not always does bmw checksum well

what's the best tool for this work … ?

I've send my tuned file to my friend (have an original WinOLS up to date with original Kess up to date too .. this is with his tools I've read my ECU and tune for the first time my krkte and startmap), and Checksums are good too .. !

But, when I flash the car with is original Kess V2, Ksuite correct the Checksums another again..
BMW cks are very special as another brand ?

I think what you describe... car start once run well then not start sounds like checksum issue.

Make tuned file, dont correct checksums with winols just write file with kess see what happens.

that's my issue yes, if I turn on the ignition (without cranking), turn off, and turn on again : My ECU does not respond anywhere !

I pull out ECU, and write in Pin-mode, but I don't need to Bootmode.

I'm going to test without cks correction, and say what happens here.

Hello, I've a Kess V2 4.036 + Ktag (clone), but not original Ktag from my friend, he only have a Kess V2.


I've already test the flash with Ktag .. same issue !


my new file in bottom .. anyone can check my checksums before writing in my ECU ?

Hello guys & have a nice Week-end,

So .. after many many test, I found a checksums corrector and .. he work fine !

ECM Titanium 1.61, available in my Clone KESS CD ..

Now, my ECU work fine with my tuned file ! but WinOLS (original or cracked) won't work for cks correction with BMW ME7, but well with another ECU.

Many thanks, now, I have tune my file correctly for my new injectors, and the car work really better than before..and fuel economy is better.
